The dangerous pursuit ended in a crash over the weekend. -- An Indianapolis man is facing numerous criminal charges after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase.Speaking to Drum magazine‚ Brendon’s mother Ramela Reddy said that she did not know what would happen to her son and preferred that the family lawyer speak on their behalf.“We have just come to see Brendon and once we get the all evidence we will be able to give an update‚ for now we cannot give too much‚” Brendon’s lawyer‚ Mr Abaner told the publication.The magazine is also reporting that Brendon’s famous girlfriend‚ DJ Zinhle tried to visit him on Saturday night but was not allowed to‚ due to strict visiting hours.According to court records, during the chase Boyd was seen “flipping people off as he was driving, as well as laughing and smiling” and after his capture prosecutors say he “admitted to officers that he had swallowed a baggie of heroine.” One local attorney says the state’s laws simply don’t work to keep offenders like that off the streets.“I would call someone like this a habitual petty offender,” said attorney Jack Crawford.Also, on the same day, he stole a rucksack, containing items including cash and cigarettes, from an member of staff at Boston Brothers in Bridge Street.
